Over all good education in the higher level is obtained in the USA. Other nations do well in special areas such as the arts. At the lower lever, elementary and high school it is a toss up and difficult to measure. The USA has a poor record for exams in these grades. However the fact that in the USA students are allowed to have their own mind it does create students at the higher level that are creative. Many nations have good education in certain areas but very few provide the broad knowledge that is needed in later life. This does not mean that England, Germany, Russia and many other places do not have good education systems.

USA has the best educational coleges but France and Italy have the best arts type colleges.

The us has the most colleges, with over 5000 nationwide, but the UK, Japan and other europen countries(norway, sweden, etc.) have excellent universities.

UK. The US is falling behind, especially in doctorates in science, technology, engineering and math. Our high schools are only just above that of Mexico. The kids are taught how to take tests, not how to gain the knowledge needed to take tests.

the one that produces the best people, intellectually and otherwise. what good is an education system if it cant churn out good kids who will, with hope, turn out to be good adults.
