Actually...my best recommendation is to stop using IE.

Try Firefox -- it's got Profiles which would allow you to do that. :)

if u have internet explorer 6 and u also want explorer 7, ur browser will automatically get updated 2 the version 7.

don't know, but the easy way is to load all your tool bars and you can select or deselect them from View>>toolbars. the simplest way i find, is when i want more space is to hit the F11 button for full screen and hit it again to bring the toolbars back again. Make sure you customize the toolbars to your specific needs. All toolbars can be customized!!!

I don't think that is possible because IE integrates itself to the Windows OS. It is not just an application but the part of the OS, if you try to install a different version of IE it will check its compatibility with the existing installed one.

There are virtualization software using which you can achieve what you want to do - VMWare is one of the most popular virtualization software.

you can have as much explorers as you want, if you get 2 different versions of the ssame software, it will be updated automatically.

You can select which one to use every time.

Be careful because every one will ask you to be your "default internet browser" this will try to avoid the automatic use of the other browsers.

Have a nice day!!!
