I think some other species are probably more intelligent than humans. like an alligator, for example, can be a few years old and has never caught and killed a wild animal. if it comes across a wild animal and wants to eat it, it will instinctivly already know how to kill it i.e. death roll and the move where to kill the animal and then they throw it up on land to eat it. I think Humans would have the instinct to eat it, but we wouldnt instinctivly know how to kill it. I think humans are so "advanced" now b/c we have so many tools to work with. With our everyday tools we work with we wouldn't be ale to do nothing. Take our car away, we have no job. No job, we cant support ourselves. If we cant eat, how many of us do you think could instinctively live soley with their bare hands. So I would have to say other species are more intelligent than humans b/c they could instictivly survive with no problem. Other animals basically just use natural tools.

argh what a question!
human was is n will be the most intelligent creature on this earth. viruses n bacterias r small organisms, what the hell! they can't think they can't read they can't write. they can't laugh n even cannot cry! so there's nothing existing on this earth whom we can compare to a human being. thank God that ur born as a human!

I can't think of any other species that can communicate electronically over the phone and internet. So I say we are intelligent compared to others.

now compared to each other, there really aren't that many that are intelligent.

this question is unanswerable. the in basic terms answer you receives is an opinion because as suggested above we are not the in basic terms wise species in the international. I recommend do you spot us estimating the gap between tree limbs so as that we may be able to swing from tree to tree? Do you spot us consistently surviving contained in the wasteland making ends meat and providing for a relations like birds do? So in my truthful opinion your definition of "wise" is incorrect.

Because, we can express, we think we are intelligent. But, the animals / birds in the wood, are more intelligent, but they can not express the same, as we, the human beings, do.
