The Following Is False:
"probably 65 mph, if you dont adjust the computer for the larger tires the speedo will say you are going faster than you really are"

That would be true of a smaller total wheel diameter (rim + tire profile). A larger diameter will spin slower than a smaller while covering the same distance. this means the speedo will read a slower speed than the truck is really going.

Top Speed on large rims is very dangerous, if not plain stupid... I've don a ton of freeway racing, let me explain.

The big wheels you like are heavy. Flippen heavy. You might say, "well their only 50 lbs more, thats not much for a big truck that can carry much more payload." You would be terribly wrong. The weight effects the total amount of rotating mass on your suspension. This weight is critical because that 50lbs becomes EXPONENTIALLY heavier as the wheel spins faster via centrifugal force.

What this means is you will need much, much, MUCH more room to stop, even from 80mph. The last test bit I read came to the result that a generic 24" rim added over a 150 some odd feet to the trucks braking distance.

I wouldn't dare attempt ANY SPEED over 80 mph and ONLY going straight on a SMOOTH highway. Most SUV's and Pickups come with 18 or 20" rims, raising the center of gravity by 4-6" WILL CHANGE the handling characteristics quite noticeably. In short, it won't corner at speed. Get the rims, enjoy the truck, just drive safely!

Probably less than 100 mph, as the governor is set to restrict speed in order to save the tires ( the stock ones have a low speed rating).

they probable personal that automobile for ALOT more effective than they might want to at present and $34k is probable lower than what they personal it for, they in basic terms prefer to get rid of it, even at a loss. Even nonetheless i wouldnt prefer to pay more effective than $31,000 or so for that automobile, like some different person stated the hot ones are insanely low cost at present. you would possibly want to be in a position to come across a used one for more cost-effective than that, and in case you cant ask between the sellers in the experience that they offered you a used one at a GMAC production unit public sale in case you would possibly want to get an same year and miles for more cost-effective.
