naturally i farted a few times while i urinated. No biggy, but the last 2 farts were kinda sloppy and made me think i may have expelled some feces, so i went into the stall to wipe, and it was HOT YELLOW PHLEGM, it burned like hell and it all stayed congealed together like, well, phlegm. Over the last 4 days i have only eaten salami cream cheese bagels, which contani nothing hot or yellow. Anyone else have this happen? Am i going to die? WTF is hot yellow phlegm doing coming out of my colon when i fart?

I would suggest you see the famous Turkish doctor, Dr. Makim Ben Dover. He will probably suggest an anal pork probe followed by a regimen of foaming beef enemas.

You should be well on your way to a full recovery soon!

Have you or anyone in your immediate family been on antibiotics lately? Have you visited anyone in a hospital or nursing home recently? Have you eaten food prepared by someone who doesn't have good hand washing skills who may be elderly? If so, you could have c-diff.

If you answered yes to any of those questions, take a sample of the rectal phlegm and a stool specimen to your doctor so he can run some lab tests on it to verify if it is c-diff. C-diff is very contagious. It happens when the good bacteria in the intestines is killed off by antibiotics and the other micro-organisms that live in the intestines (clostridium difficile) take over. The most common signs and symptoms are frequent diarrhea that has a sickening smell, and mucous in the stool that can be clear, yellow, brown, bloody or any combination of the above. Stomach pain and cramping are also signs, as is gas.

You and your family need to make sure that you don't share towels or anything else that would come into contact with your butts. Good hand washing is also a good idea. Wash the bedclothes with bleach and make sure you see your doctor.

If it isn't c-diff, then it might be the fat content in the salami and cheese. See your doctor. C-diff can be debilitating. Or you could have colitis or some other infection in you bowels. See your doctor, ASAP.

I doubt it is clostridium difficule, as this usually causes green watery stools. I suspect this is from your diet. You mentioned only eating the same food for days. Try to vary your diet and it will clear up in 24 hours. I agree, though, that was probably a scary sight! Good luck!

Its just some bacteria in your bowels. If it persists you may want to see Dr for an antibiotic, but these things usually just clear up on their own.
