Did you take yourself off prozac or did your doctor advise you to quit taking it? Did you ever think about how other people killed themselves BEFORE you were on prozac?
Anti-depressants do NOT cause people who never thought about suicide to wake up one day obsessed with suicide. Anti-depressants were never meant to cure suicidal thoughts. They were meant to serve as a way to open the doors of communication so that those in need of help could benefit from what was out there...If this is worrisome to you then call your doctor.

first ask yourself if you have thoughts of hurting your self or others if you answer yes to either of these questions you need to contact the prescribing dr. If you feel more deprssed contact your dr. Usually anti-depressants take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to work but there are ALOT of other prescription drugs out there that you can try. not every anti-depressant works the same for everyone so you should work with your dr to find the right one for you and make sure you check in with your doc at least once per month. sometimes your body becomes tolerent to the dose or drug therapy

No, you should not be concerned with the way other people have hung themselves. It is done and you can't provide them with any advice on doing it better. Instead of focusing on these poor slobs, you should focus on yourself.
Hope this helps.

yes, talk to your doctor. it could actually be symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder, which prozac also treats, and could start to surface if you stop taking it even if you never had symptoms before. if you are not feeling suicidal or homicidal, this seems like a possibility. talk to the doc.

Only if it bothers you. Thinking about other people commiting suicide is actually quite normal as long as it is not interferring with your daily life or making you wish you would commit suicide too.

Go ahead and mention it to your doctor if you're worried... I would just monitor it. If it gets worse, then definately mention it.
Wondering is one thing. Wanting to do it is another. Make sure you don't cross that line.
Best of luck to you.
