My best friend from High School. He died of Cystic Fibrosis. Hardly any of his friends got to say "goodbye". He knew he was dying and didn't want to see all our pain. I miss him all the time.

That would be my mom. The reason I chose her is because I love her and miss her very much. She should also know that I'm sorry I was in Texas and never got the chance to tell her how much I love her If it's alright , I'd like to tell you a bit about that situation. See , I had a few really tough years. Beginning in 1996 and the unexpected death of my father. A coma from a ruptured colon prevented me from telling him how i felt about having him for a father. Within six(6) months , my wife and son( born on Christmas day a few months prior would disappear and I've yet to see either of them. The death of a favorite uncle and both of my mothers sisters would come in rapid succession and I couldn't take the stress any longer. A chance job in Texas would give me breathing room, I thought. On my brothers birthday and about six (6) months after her sisters death, my mother passed away more unexpectedly as her second husband apparently found her. A short time later , two of my fathers brothers died and so did the best Grandmother anyone ever had the pleasure of calling ,"maw maw". My family became virtually extinct in the blink of an eye and so I'd really like to talk to my mother . I really do miss you mom. I love you.

I can think of a lot of people I'd like to 'meet' only because it would be a good opportunity to eliminate them. So I will stick with the dead, and also assume you Could understand each other. A Neanderthal. Because we have hardly any info on ability and social actions, and to meet with one even that briefly would be insightful, even without words. People hardly ever talk to the ones we have now, and are even less likely to listen. I guess you want to know who we respect – Isaac Newton, Thomas Jefferson, Voltaire, Charlemagne, Genghis Kahn, Alexander the Great, Marie Curie, Melanthippe, Shakespeare, Austen – I could get something out of talking to any of them. It would be an honor

My grandmother. I don't care about famous people who are gone, because they didn't have anything more than grandma had! She lived ninety three years, and this year she would have been 102 years old. I know she is still having adventures, and if there's anyone I'd want to consult about the afterlife or anything else that happened in the last century, I'd want to get the scoop from grandma.

The 14th Dalia Lama. As a modern day holy man preaching the same things as the Christian Christ Jesus, I find him easier to follow. His credo is;
"For as long as space endures
And for as long as living beings remain,
Until then may I too abide
To dispel the misery of the world."
You must admit this qualifies him as a great religious leader.
I too have dedicated my life to dispelling misery.

I guess it's not so original to say my daughter, who died almost 4 years ago. I just want to know how it's going for her these days... I don't have to tell her I miss her, because she knows that. I don't have to tell her I love her, because she always knew that.

Sting was the first celebrity who came to mind, because he is so intelligent and I'm a bass player, too.

My Mama. I'd like to tell her again how much I love her and admire her for her strength and compassion and kindness. Let her know that I think she is a real Lady and that she taught me how to be one too. Thank you Mama. I love you and miss you.
