This is what is known as "white heads". They are often hairs that grow back into the skin. Clothing or any irritation can cause them.

It's best not to pick at them. See a dermatologist and see if he can give you a cream that will help. If you can't afford the doctor, then use a scrubbing brush in the shower and scrub your arms very well with a dandruff shampoo each day. After your shower apply a light moisturizer like Curel to your arms.

Hope this helps.

Please see a dermatologist. This does NOT sound like herpes. But it does sound like cysts. There is a skin disease call Morgella syndrome (that may not be the correct spelling) it is rare but this might be it. At any rate, by continuing to pick at it you risk very dangerous infections. I don't know if antibiotics can clear this up or what else you may need - without seeing it no-one can. So don't wait any longer. Please, please go to your doctor ASAP! Don't continue to risk your health.

Best of luck and many blessings.

After pregnancy, I had small, white bumps on my upper arms. Oddly, so did my infant. The midwife and doctor both said it was due to hormone fluctuations. We are both still slightly bumpy several years later, but nothing like the first year.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like cysts. I get them in my armpits. It's an inflamation of the lymph glands, and the best way to deal with them is to get some antibiotics. As soon as you feel one coming on, start taking your meds. I use tetrocycline.
