I know its only one week but I was one point off from being very last in my league....problem is, my team seems solid for a 10 manager league:
Starters:
QB-P.Manning
WR-M.Harrison, S.Smith, R.Williams
RB-S.Alexander, W.Parker
TE-C.Cooley
K-J.Wilkins
DEF-Jacksonville
Bench-M.Bulger, L.Jordan, K.Jones, L.Maroney, T.Glenn
What now? Do I need to trade for someone...I'm keeping all these running backs because i'm unsure which one will be consistent for my No.2...good idea?

Stick with your guns, you've got a good team there. Don't panic after one week.

Its only 1 week by the looks of ur top 3 players I can see why u lost. Manning only threw 1 td, Alexander had a dissapointing start, and steve smith didnt even play. Its not like they all gonna be busts its only week 1, U got a great squad but u need to give ur players time to succeed. Sure u can look for a nice trade offer but if the other league managers see dat ur desparate they will do their best to try and take advantage of u so be careful.

I wouldn't change your team. Last week was a slow week for alot of people. Steve Smith didn't play, Alexander and Cooley didn't do shxt last week. I would start Terry Glenn over Steve Smith this week, because it doesn't look like he'll be playing this week either.

You may want to pick u pa back up TE, or just drop Cooley for another TE if he doesn't put up any points this week. But don't make any drastic changes. You have four MVP candidates on your squad, Manning, Harrison, Smith and Alexander. You should be fine once they get their ball rolling.

That's a good team, be patient. S.Smith hurt several of my teams too, by being out for week 1.

I'd dump/trade K.Jones or L.Maroney for another WR/TE. I got burned by Cooley last week too. Hope he's in their new playbook?

Change Steve Smith....wait till he is healthy before starting him. Everything else looks good.....real good. Go with Glenn until Smith is ready. Glenn should be very serviceable until then. You have a nice team with good depth so just ride it out and you'll be happy later this year. If you do make a trade, try and get an elite receiver for one of your backs (other than Alexander), you should be able to get great value for one of them.

Not a bad squad, but I would consider not starting S Smith. I have him as well and as much as it pains me to bench him I would rather put someone in who is going to play and get points. Even if he does play you need to wonder who much time will he get and how effective will he be.

Be patient. It's not who starts first, but who finishes first.
