I am not a republican but I am curious what ticks people off the most about dems? Is it the whole "dem's believe in big government and are ignorant of 'big brother'", is it "they have low morals", is it "they are not very christian", is it "they have ideas that are too optimistic and starry eyed (unrealistic)" or is it that "they are more socialist slanting"...IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE of the these reasons as being most important above the others, which one is it? Or if you have a different one please share it.

I don't hate anyone, but I hate the ideology of many Democrats. Let me say, as a thoughtful Republican, that I do not believe all Democrats are the same. Some fit the liberal stereotype that we hear so much about. Many others are very pragmatic, moderate people. But if I had to pick one aspect that I hate the most, it would be the instinct to run to government for a solution to anything and everything that comes up in life. (Unfortunately, some Republicans are doing this more and more too.)

Dems make sense, Republicans make emotion is the simplest way to put things. People hate one side or the other because they believe strongly in defense or for what they consider logic. Democrats may be painted as for "big government" but under the leadership of the last 3 Republican Presidents government has spent more money and for more programs than any democrat has ever done and increased the national debt and scope of government more than any other political idealogy ever has. People just pick sides nowadays, versus waying the issues, it's not good for the country as whole to be so against itself by painting pictures of which side is right or wrong.

That they're not standing up to the Republicans as much as they should be. They let the likes of Bush, Rove, and Cheney run all over them the last 5 years. They should grow a backbone and expose the Republicans for the frauds that they are.

They are opportunistic. At a time when our country should be coming together, at least in the international eye, they nit pick everything our President does. They are largely part of the reason the U.S. looks incompetent. They would like to say Bush has created that perception all on his own, but look at them. They would never support Bush, even if it was in the best intererst of the United States of America.

All BS aside, I don't like that the Dems are willing willing to turn things over to Big Brother. They talk personal liberties, but their actions don't reflect that.

I'm a big time believer in " the right to be left alone".

The thing the I hate the most about democrats is exhibited quite nicely by DSTR, and it is the fact that a majority of democrats see no flaws whatsoever in their version of politics and nothing right whatsoever in any differing political viewpoint.

There's no way to chose one reason. For me it all points to them hating their own country - specifically the one I love.

First - when presented with facts, they ignore them specifically to think the worst of their country. Chemical weapons were used on Iraqii Kurds. Yet, the Donkeys won't admit we were right about the WMDs - of which, mobile WMDs were in fact found and reported to the media.

Second - they won't admit that what's best for their country lies ahead of what they "think" are their personal freedoms. Phone service is a regulated service. Why should Donkeys think they don't have to play by the rules? Why is it that the government's policy to record phone calls, which has been going on for DECADES before W got into office, is so unconstitutional? Talking on the phone isn't your "right." Find it in the consitution to prove me wrong.

Third - they don't even read the constitution yet use it as a crutch for their stupid arguments. They're war against religion is a joke. "Christian values" is just a way of saying to live by the law and stay out of other people's lives. Trying to take the word "God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance or off our currency? Do you really want to waste our precious tax money on this crap? Get a life! The constitiution's stance on religion is that the State will not designate a State religion. It never says anything about keeping religion out of our public buildings. This country was born to protect the freedom of religion of it's settlers. Therefore you have no right to speak out against the use of the word "God."

Fourth - they like to give their opinion when it's not asked for. I don't care what you think of my President unless I specifically ask for it. He is the leader of our country. While he is in office it is offensive and 100% wrong to criticize him. Keep your mouth shut until he is out of office.

Fifth - they inability to blame guilty parties for their actions. Evil men blew up four planes on 9/11 and killed thousands of people. The fact that godless America-haters will believe anything to balme it on our own government is sick.

Donkeys are a brain-washed cult. They're not smart enough to figure out the main cause of Muslim hatred toward America was Carter's Middle east policy (as stated by Bin Laden himself) because they know their party caused the mess. Now we will be attacked for the rest of our lives. Thanks donkeys!
