An autopsy was performed Monday. On Tuesday, Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill said that based on preliminary findings, "the cause of death is not natural." But, she said, "we wish to reserve [announcing] the cause of death at this time," adding that a toxicology results and a full autopsy report will be released by the end of the week.
Virgill said an inquest will take place afterward and her staff will interview all "relevant witnesses," including Anna Nicole Smith, hospital workers and flight attendants, to develop an official timeline.
The coroner's statements came in the wake of a story in the Nassau Guardian that Daniel Smith suffered a "massive heart attack" and that antidepressants had been found in his system. The newspaper said that Daniel was seen "vomiting uncontrollably" shortly before his death

The real reason has not come to light yet, Toxicoloogy reports should be known soon.
Sources connected to the investigation also say any allegations of negligence on the hospital's part are unfounded. There was no shortage of oxygen, as had been previously reported. There was no blood or vomit in the room either and we're told no drugs or alcohol were found in the room. Sources say, however, Daniel's airplane flight to the Bahamas may provide a critical clue as to the possible cause of his death. TMZ has learned that personnel on board the flight are being interviewed by police and there are rumblings that alcohol on board the aircraft may have been a factor. Sources indicate Daniel went directly to the hospital where his mother was as soon as he landed at the airport.
Additionally, People magazine reports that Howard K. Stern--Anna's lawyer and confidante--was the other person in the room with Anna at the time of Daniel's death. Smith had to be sedated after the shock of her son's death, which has had the unfortunate result of memory loss. This also means that Anna had to be told a second time that her son had passed.

Police are certain it wasn't natural causes. They believe he was poisoned and they are searching out potential suspects. They know for a fact that somebody else was in the room when he died. Very strange.

You wonder why with a mother who curses on TV, talks about sex like it is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, exposes herself is is generally nutty than a fruitcake. Nope probably didn't have a thing to do with it.

i think it was a suicide , brought on by the birth of a new child for anna , and taking away from the attention of the first son. he showed his mother that he was so jealous of his new sibling that he shocked and dismayed his family by killing himself right in the hospital so as to ruin the joy of a new life by taking his own. what a selfish soul. a soul on his way to purgatory.
