I'm building a desktop PC and I need to put enough memory in it to manage whatever I install on it. My goal capacity is 2GB. But I'll settle for anything from 512MB to up to 4GB. As long as I can manage the price. My budget is really low. ($80 - $150)

What website do I go to for that kind of thing???

First, check for the proper memory for your computer by going to crucial.com. Then you can copy the info down and go to newegg.com to buy it. Here is a page that gives you 137 memory choices for a price of between $50-$75. Stick with Corsair, Kingston, Mushkin, or Crucial memory.

Newegg.com or Zipzoomfly.com. They have the lowest prices and are very reputable. Fry's (Outpost.com) and Tiger direct (tigerdirect.com) are also some onlien sore that have warehouses where u can buy stuff cheaply if you are near there stores.

Go with "lwcomputing"s answer. Kingston or Crucial. Those are the only two that have never caused me fits.
