Well since you didn't say whether the new relationship he is in is serious or not, maybe you should just come right out and ask him. Was it just dinner or did more happen on your date? If he kissed you, held your hand, or any other acts of affection, I would question him as to the status of his relationship with his girlfriend. For him it could just be as innocent as getting together with an old friend, even though you two were a couple not so long ago. Good luck!

Well my mom is married (to my dad, lol) and she goes to dinner with some of her ex's. She always tells my dad about them, but the thing is, they're just friendly get togethers. They just catch up and talk about what's going on in their lives and whatnot. Every once in awhile she gets a... *ahem... offer, but she always turns them down.
It may be innocent, but it may be not. Just don't get your feelings mixed up and make a mistake, though I doubt you would. You seem like a good person.
Have a good day!

well try to think about when he ask you out how was his wording and his composure did it seem like a friendly or innocent dinner did he make you feel like it was more. if it was a normal dinner with like a friend or another male friend then i would say he just wanted to see you he may of missed you or maybe it was a type of thing he wanted to see you and see if he felt something so he new if he should move forward with this other women. sorta like well let me see her again to see if i have any feelings left for her(you) sorta like he his giving his own self permission to move along. good luck to you.

It sounds a little strange.Maybe he just wanted to talk.Or that he was having second thoughts.Did he tell you about his girlfriend? He could have been hoping to get some side action. If that's the case I would run not walk away from any other dinners. I would not consider it a date.

Maybe he really wants to be friends again.
If he didn't cheat on you, try to give him the benefit of the doubt. Make sure that you keep it strictly platonic.
