It is a state of being able to find a person of either gender to be attractive as a partner, sexually emotionally mentally and/or spiritually. There are some whose preference is swayed more to one gender than another and there are those who are equally content to be (in a relationship) with a man or a woman.

We don't necessarily have to have both concurrently and there is no necessity for us to chop and change with the wind.

Bisexuality means sexual or romantic attraction or behavior directed towards some members of more than one sex.
A strict definition of a bisexual would be someone who has romantic and/or sexual relations with other people of more than one sex (though not necessarily at the same time.

However, since not everyone has necessarily had the opportunity to act on their sexual/romantic attractions, some people prefer a looser definition; for instance, that a bisexual is a person who - in their own estimation - feels potentially able to have such attraction. This could be anyone who has erotic, affectionate, or romantic feelings for, fantasies of, and/or experiences with both men and women.

A bisexual may be more attracted to one sex than the other, attracted equally to both, or find people's sex unimportant. The strength of their attractions to men and women may vary over time.
In other words, bisexual identity and bisexual behaviour are not necessarily the same thing. It has been suggested that the word "bisexual" should be limited to describing behaviour, and the word "bi" could be used for describing identity, with all the cultural implications which have grown up in the bi community.

Since the word "bisexual" can be used in different ways, it is enough to bear this in mind and make it clear how you are using it, in the interests of good communication.

Some bisexuals prefer one sex over the other; for others it is pretty much equal. Some (perhaps most) are married and live happy lives; others are single and enjoy sex with both genders and some married bisexuals step outside their marriage. Married men who cheat on their wives with gay men or bisexual men are usually bisexual themselves, not gay. And sexual activity usually goes on with one sex at a time -- it is a myth of pornographers that bisexuals like mixed threesomes and such.

Bisexual men are usually far deeper in the closet than their gay counterparts. And it is my belief that most seemingly straight men are at some level, bisexual.

I know that I am attracted to the person, not the sex of the person.
Being bisexual, is basically (for me) that the sex of the person is not as important, as the relationship you can potentially have with that person.

Male or female, the personality of the person is what makes me fall for them. And I can't really say what which sex I prefer. There are elements in both sexes that you can find very appealing.

Being bisexual is having a sexual attraction to both male and female genders. Some bisexuals will tell you that they prefer men over women, women over men or equal.

I'm Gay; I'm a man's man.

Bisexuality simply means that you have the capacity to love, form relationships with, and lust after members of either gender. You can be 50/50 (I am), or have a preference for one gender or the other. You can be monogamous (I am) or not.
