It's hard to say without knowing what brand the test was. Equate will have two lines and be negative. When you look at it it will be: - |
For an Equate to be positive it has to be + |
Most tests are negative if only the second window has a line. If both windows have a line, it is positive, like this | |
If you saw two vertical lines, it sounds positive to me, unless it was a digital test. If it was a digital, ignore the lines altogether, like the instructions say. The digital test compares the colors of the lines and our eyes aren't that sensitive, so there is no way to tell what the results are by eye.
Go to Walmart and get an Equate. They worked for me and are considered the most reliable for the price.

Unfortunately, it is possible to have bought a defective product. You have a few options. . . you could:
1. buy another home pregnancy test, perhaps a different brand
2. go to your doctor or a public health clinic and have the test done there
3. wait 9 months and see if anything happens (not recommended)
I would suggest going to a healthcare provider if you think you may be pregnant. That way if you are, you can get started with you prenatal care, which increases the chances of a problem-free pregnancy.
Also, if you send the defective product back to the manufacturer, they will provide you with a coupon/voucher for another or a refund of the purchase price.

It defiinately sounds like you could be PG. Get another test - perhaps a different brand!

I think you should try a blood pregnancy test. because if the body has a story the blood will tell it.

Please don't trust a home pregnancy test, go to planned parenthood or your regular doctor for a test that is done by a professional, I believe they are even free at planned parenthood.
