Depends when you take the test.... early on in pregnancy the HCG levels (pregnancy hormone) are low and most detectable in the first urine of the day. As a pregnancy increases, your HCG levels double - every 2-3 days- and your level drastically increases. At this point, even w/ frequent urinations, HCG would be detected and therefore provide a positive result.

Your hormones are the most (for lack of a better word) condensed after you have been sleeping all night. This is because you are not urinating all night and the hormones have a chance to accumulate. So yes a test could turn out to be negative. Sometimes under the best conditions the test could turn out to be negative. This is why some brands include more then one test in a kit.

It is possible, but depends on how far along the pregnancy is. I'm almost 28 weeks, so I could pee every 15 minutes and they would all come up positive. Try to hold your urine about 2 hours before taking another test or take the test first thing in the morning.

Yes, especially if you just recently became pregnant (first four-five weeks.) They want you to use your first morning urine because the pregnancy hormones have built up in it over night. If you use the bathroom 30 minutes prior to the pregnancy test then you did not have a large build up of the pregnancy hormones for the test to be positive.

if you are pg and your hcg levels are at a high enough level to be detectable--it shouldn't matter if you peed or not 30 mins before you took the test. i took 4 test in one day...all positive. here is a good site that has hcg levels, when they are detectable and what test pick up what levels. http://www.webwomb.com/hpt_levels_hcg_levels.htm

tests are not 100%. I tested negative with both my kids when I was pg. The tests check the level of hcg hormone...if your pee is inside you longer it is more concentrated of the level of the hormone.
you get better results (more accurate) if you use first morning pee.....but then that depends on how far along you are.

Not if you're pregnant. The test measures a protein that's being continually produced by the body.
