Check you cable connections on the battery and make sure they are tight. You may consider changing your cables. If the cables are good and are tight , go to an auto parts store such as AutoZone and they will test your alternator and starter for free. It could very well be one of the two. If both the alternator and the starter are good, have the battery tested and make sure you were not sold a bad battery.

Its probrobally your starter but they don't really go bad unless they are abused it could be a starter wire I would check all the wiring on it first because $2 of wire stuff is way better than a brand new starter or even a used one from a salvage yard or something.

your starter could make a buzzing but usally a grinding noise. could be altanator. but that usally dims the lights. take something like a hammer and tap lightly on stater. sometimes if there getting ready to go, tapping on them will get your car to start (while someone turns the key) or it could be the that your timeing is off and need reset... good luck hope you get it going!

Try jumping the car - if it starts then the battery is the problem. It could be that the alternator isn't keeping it charged.
If you can't jump it, the starter solenoid may be the problem.

don't assume battery is OK, it sounds like battery is discharged, lights and radio don't consume much juice

Check your altenator, or fan belt or starter. They all work together!
