There's not really a "normal" in weightlifting. Everybody lifts their own wights at their own pace. I've seen guys my same size lift twice as much as me and others lift half as much as me. Everybody is different. 140 lbs is good for your size and age. If you want to increase the amount of weights you are lifting, only regular workouts can help. Change your routine from day to day and try to lift with a buddy so you can lift heavier weights with a spotter. Whatever you do, don't get discouraged by seeing someone else lift more than you. Most guys at the gym have been at that weight at one point in their lives and are more than willing to help if you have any questions.

When you can lay flat on your back on the ground, with arms stretched straight over your head and lift 50 lbs up to a point directly over your face, then come back and post again. I'll be looking for your post.

I'm no expert on weightlifting, but that sounds impressive. Good night!
