They are now on HDMTV... excellent channel. Concerts in HiDef, HD music video's. HD music is what it's called... That's where MTV is at now... They are very focused on it and very good at it.

The same thing happened to MTV that has happened to a lot of things today. The almighty dollar took over. Blatant commercialism. Why have a channel aimed at the music world when you can make more money selling shows and products to impressionable teenie boppers and sex starved college students. Maybe its a good thing though. Maybe people will go back to listening to music and attending live shows instead of having pre-selected B.S. shoved down their throat.

Turns out that format was not the most profitable! Plain and simple.

Music videos have turned into reality and reality repeats.

Although how can you not love my Super Sweet Sixteen? Just a little?

I know it used to play music videos all the time and know it just plays shows. If you want to watch music videos the only thing you can watch is TRL

Lets just say "reality killed the music star" this time. They found out that reality tv is highly addictive, and can make a television network butt loads of money. They should change their name to RTV, and call it a day.
