Ok. I have a friend that lives with me (because of our parents seeing each other) and we have lived with each other for a year. He is 13 and I am 16. Through the past year we have become really good friends, but lately he has been doing something that I think is kinda weird, but I dontk now if its normal or not. Here is an example of the situation: We are in my room laying on my bed and I am watching him play a video game. I am laying on my back with my legs propped up while watching. He then out of no where decides to lay back against the side of my legs and gets comfortable... Is this weird behavior? or do u think he has like a crush on me or something? BTW I'm a dude.

Ok heres a lil update. He Shows absolutly NO interest in girls. If he was interested in girls then i would even bother to post this. Even if he did like me I would still be his friend, but i would just say that i dont feel the same way.

Chances are pretty good he has just come to a point that he trusts you and is comfortable with you. Siblings tend to lean and use each other as pillows. Does he come from an affectionate family? He is likely feeling like he has a brother. If you are uncomfortable, just move away, he will get the message. Otherwise, I would not worry.

You're now in the older brother role, he obviously feels close and comfortable with you. I wouldn't think it's weird. My son is 13 and he's super shy.....no girlfriends, etc. but he's not queer. If you are uncomfortable just say dude, what are ya gay? How he reacts to the question will let you know. I have 4 boys...13-21, trust me I know how they are. And besides when you "dudes" are playing video games are you really paying attention to anything else? Usually you are so zoned into the game the house could be burning down and you wouldn't know! Quit being a homophobic step-bro and talk to him!

Perfectly normal at this stage. He is feeling comfortable around you. safe, in an otherwise insecure situation. My kids use each other, and their closest friends, lol as pillows, step stools, punching bags, etc. They have grown to trust each other through that and now use each other for sounding boards, venting sesions and dream catchers.
Use the time with him wisely and watch the bond strengthen. If things get too close or you feel uncomfortable, change settings...ask if he wants a snack, would like to play ball outside, something that isnt so closely connected.

It depends.
Personally,I dont think it's that wierd. I go through the same thing with a buddy of mine. If you were sitting on the hard floor and he got out of a comfortable position or chair just to get next to you, then I'd get concerned.

Well, Normal hugging, and leaning on each other is not uncommon in close friends, it's okey so long he doesn't try to undress or bumping/humping at you.
I don't think he has a crush on you or something, though he feels comfortable while physically touching you.

Yes. He is only 13. He is just comfortable with you. Which is nice. Be glad you get along. If it bothers you, say something in a really gentle way. He definitely looks up to you.

I've seen guys act like that before... and I've seen girls do it before.... I guess what I'm saying is it could mean something OR it could mean nothing.... Only way you'll know is if you ask. Communication is everything and if you're best friends, why not just talk about it?!

Well...two possibilities. #1 He thinks of you as a brother, and is comfortable around you, so he doesnt think its weird to just relax around you. #2 He is gay or bi and likes you. I strongly suspect that he just thinks of you as an older brother and is comfortable around you. I mean, it's not like he's grabbing your *** or anything. Just relax, he's probably not gay, and if he was, thats no big deal either.

yea dude that is really wierd because that is not "brother-like" especially for a 13 year old. Maybe he is gay? iono, if you don't like it just try to tell him to stop and it makes you uncomfee or somethin.
