Is there a secret to getting good at that? She picked out ties and the ties he picked were like 10 times better!! My girlfriend isn't dumb either, she's in the medical profession! I know that don't mean anything, but give me a break! Aren't girls suppose to be good at that sorta stuff?

Different people have different skills. If a man works in a suit store, he surely had potential to be good at it, and he has learned much after years of working there. Your girlfriend probably doesn't have the same skill the seller of suits has, even if she is smarter overall. Another thing is that women and men really have different tastes in clothing. The book about "Dressing For Success" by John T. Malloy says that the worst thing a businessman can do is to allow his wife or girlfriend to pick his clothing for him. I find that to be quite true, as you have.

The short bald guy at the suit store is a professional....he probably can't draw blood like your girlfriend can or do cpr....besides medical professionals aren't known for their fashion knowledge...look at what they wear to work!!!!
