Inventions of Mesopotamians (Assyrians, Sumerians, and Babylonians): wheel, irrigation system--toilet, written language--Cuneiform, battery, sun-dial, 7 days in week, 360 degrees in 60 minutes then in 60 seconds, chair, helmet, chariot, arch, soap, number zero, lens, glass, etc... There are hundreds contributed by these intelligent peoples.

depends on how far in the past you are talking. they had stoves wood of course in the 1400's thru the 1800's. they had weapons like guns and knives, cannons too. there were lithograph and printing machines although run by hand not electricity.

The wheel, clothes (animal fur in early times), language (even if it were grunts). energy (as simple as a camp fire), shelter (even if it is the tree above), food, medicine (the settlers in the New World learned much from the native Americans who used plants from the forest as medicine), cooking vessels, microwave (only kidding), tools, transportation (horse, sled, Conestoga wagon, etc.)
