I agree a Gore/Clinton ticket vs Giuliani/McCain or McCain/Guiuiani ticket would have a voter turn out to match that of the 92 Bush, Clinton, Perot race.

Gore says he isn't setting up for a another run at the presidency. However he has publicly reappeared having first released his movie then making the talk show circuit and appearing on Saturday Night Live.

He looks good too. He appears more relaxed and not so uptight. He comes across much better than before. I'm ot sure Clinton could win the White House herself but as a VP her strength would catapult Gore to win the presidency.

The Republican candidates are behind the eight ball having to balance distancing themselves from the presidents 32% approval rating without going so far they lose their core voter base.

Watch for fuel prices to come down as the Oil Companies try to help their Republican friends in the mid term elections in November. It is an attempt to create the illusion that the economy has improved and that relief is on it's way.

Also have you noticed that the attention has been redirected towards Afghanistan and thus away from Iraq.

First of all the effects of a president has on the economy don't show up for 2-4 years after they effected a policy, thus the boom we experienced during clinton's presidency was more a result of the first Bush then clinton and the depression experienced during the second Bush a result of clinton's policies, therefore the economy wouldn't show any improvement related to their presidency until the year 2010.
Yes the enviroment would probably be cleaner.
The other two are necessary at times and ifanyone doesn't believe that then have a nice life in dream land.
As for who can beat them well all I know is Kerry was supposed to smash Bush in '04

If that's what the democratic ticket is going to be, bring it on. I hope that's the best the democrats can do. If that is the case, your party has no chance of winning the election. Ask yourself a few questions. When was the last time a senator was elected to the presidency? (1960) When was the last time a woman was elected President? (never) Didn't Al Gore already lose an election bid once? (Yes, in 2000) How many Republican candidates could beat your proposed ticket? (3-4)

Good question because, as you can see, it really brings out the fear in Republicans. They know, like the rest of the world, that if he could run again, Bill Clinton would be elected in a heartbeat. What the people really want is Bill Clinton back in the White House - even if only as First-stud/husband.

Unfortunately, your big problem is: Hillary + Al. It's like oil + water, or fire + gasoline. They would kill each other before we had time to vote.

Gore and Clinton would restore honor and dignity to the White House. After the corrupt Bush administration, they would be a breath of fresh air.

Which one would be the pres.candidate and which one would be the VP? There's no way Hill would take a back seat to Al Gore. Al Gore has zero personality, Hillary is a witch. What exactly would their platform be? Raise money by selling military secrets to China? You think the wars would end? Great, then the terrorists could regroup and come over here and attack us on our own soil again. Yeah..Gore and Clinton inspiring ticket alright...inspiring for the republicans.

You definitely killed any chance you had of being a legend, with that statement. I'm not a Republican and That was more than I can swallow. Check out the wars under the Clinton Administration.

Pondering the idea of either of them in the white house EVER AGAIN just made me throw up a little in my mouth. They are the most disgusting...
Well, Hillary is a hypocrite, only out to get the white house so she can be the first woman president, not actually to improve anything, and Gore was only a puppet during the clinton years anyway... what makes you think he could actually govern by himself? I guess if he were elected, no one would ever know what kind of president he was because he would just bore everyone to sleep within minutes of taking the oath.

not a chance, Hillary is going to have a tough time just in her state election, she will will but most likely with less than 6 percent margin.

And she has enougn people within her own party that would not go for her, I don't think you will see her in the run.

They WILL win as long as their voters show up at the polls this time which I think they will now. America has woken up after countless problems the Bush administration has caused. Bush has also given his party a bad name.
