My husband is quite sick, bound to his wheelchair or bed. Once a month I get some me time... I hesitate as a very married woman to go anywhere. For six years I have put me on hold. I am tired of the unwritten pages in my life. Are there any places in the Tacoma area you would reccomend for a night of dancing and good people. I live near Mt Rainier, 40+, don't do rap or heavy metal. Minimal cover charges and I don't drink.

Sometimes Cinderella can stay out late, but she usually has to be home by midnight. Why distance is a factor. It takes 1.5 hours from the club off of I-5 and South Tacoma Way. : (

If you like country music, you might try the Rockin' Horse in Renton. I know it's a bit far, but it's smoke & alcohol free. Friday nights are $12 for the dance lesson at 7:00 and the dance starts at 8:00.
I wouldn't recommend going the 3rd Saturday of each month though, as it's Christian Singles night...obviously, not something you'd be interested in since you are a devoted wife.

To the person that answered Howl at the Moon, apparently they don't know that it's no longer there? It's now called 88 Keys and really not a good place for dancing (No dance floor) It's more of a great place to drink and sing along with your friends. Unfortunately I don't have many suggestions on where to go in Tacoma, the only place I frequent there is called The Swiss. Depending on what kind of music you like it could be a good place to go and it's usually not hard to find a dance partner. (The ages will depend on the band playing.) They do serve alcohol, but also some really fantastic food! If you get in early, by 6 or 7pm you can usually avoid the cover charge and grab a table because they'll fill up fast. Hope you find a place to be yourself and have fun - Good Luck!

There is a fun piano bar in Seattle near the Seahawks stadium called Howl and the Moon. This is a pretty safe (AND FUN) place to go by yourself. I'm always bothered by people in Tacoma when I go out dancing so I can't think of any place to really recommend there. But Howl and the Moon is a blast, they play any kind of music you like. It really is fun.

Wow, really sturdy question. females are really diverse than adult men even as it contains dishonest. females evaluate a lot extra factors of their decision making procedure. i anticipate you're concerning females who've been married for a lengthy time period, not in basic terms 2 years. i might want to be sure a youthful lady who's in basic terms been married a three hundred and sixty 5 days or 2 going for a one-time deal because she were given stuck up contained in the on the spot one evening partying with previous pals even as her husband is out doing his personal difficulty. i imagine females who've been married for years, with children, have a tendency to bypass for lengthy-time period affairs in hopes of creating their shallowness and filling the gap of what's lacking of their marriages. both way, this is incorrect in spite of the undeniable fact that it does ensue plenty.

when i lived in bremerton in the the early 90's i went to a club called cimarron in gig harbor. also there was a club in tukwila, don't know the name. they were c/w places. you might try calling the radio station you listen to or go to their website and see if they have links to places to go dancing. that's what i did in phoenix,az, and went to some great places!!
as long as you can say no to other than dancing you should be fine. my own personal experience, guys are guys-they all want to get laid, but they seem to be a little more respectful at c/w bars than at rap clubs, besides you tend to have more kids at rap clubs than c/w, they can't appreciate c/w!!

Look for a gay bar. You're not going to find any sleazy guys trying to hit on you.
..and the music is to DIE for.
