its not good nor bad luck. it is just a meteor going across, but some people think that it is a star that you make a wish on, and it will come true.

A shooting star is suppose to be good luck and i had some good luck before when i saw a shooting star. I got good grades on my book assignment and i got to pass 7Th grade. Pretty cool hu. Ya i think that they are good luck because it seamed to be for me.

Depends on its direction:
Heading towards Earth - Bad Luck.
Heading away from Earth - Good Luck.

A shooting star is basically a small meteor falling to earth. So...it's good luck to wish on it, but bad luck you get struck by it. ; )

Good luck, you can make a wish on it.
Unless it falls out of the sky and hits you, and then it is bad luck.

Well shooting stars are really small burning peices of rocks, from astrods or metiors. when they enter the earths atmostpher they burn up. So good luck if they burn up before causeing a metior shower on earth. and it don't hurt to wish i supose.
