It depends,
1.On your performance through 15 long years.
2.What special achievement you have made in your area of work.
3.Who were your previous employers.
4.What you have learnt more and expertised.
Supposing that you have an excellant record for all the above
I feel, U may get more than Rs.15lakh per month, selecting a good
Company.

What sort of engineer ? Titles mean nothing. What you can do matters. But it's going to differ company to company.

To answer your question - the salary is however much you can negotiate ? Or if you prefer, it's about the same as someone with 14 years experience.

Depends on skillset too - if you can do SOA design, you can big demands, if you can only write COBOL......not so much (I used to write COBOL & now design SOA architecture, so I know the difference).
