If a man is involved in a loving commited relationship, why would he occasionally bring up things having to do with his ex wife? Since they have been apart for 2-3 years. Even her name?

if he wants to talk about her, go ahead and talk about her. you might be glad you did. right before you cut him off, maybe he was about to tell you what an evil hosebeast she was!!lol

She's his ex-wife. She didn't cease to exist when you married him. She will ALWAYS be part of his history. Did you forget everyone you ever knew when you got married? How does it harm you in any way if he occasionally brings her up?

Man, this is why 14-year olds shouldn't get married....

it's hard for a human (man and woman) to forget about those that had been in their heart before. don't be too sensitive about this issue. if you really love him, and he's really into you, give him chance to let his ex go.......but first of all, you should talk to him that you are being bothered whenever he mentioned his ex-wife's name.

It is not asthough he isn't interested in you, it could be that he wants your humble opinion on matters regarding his ex-wife. Talk with him freely about her, and if it bothers you, tell him "Let's talk about something else"

Probably because he has not gotten her out of his mind yet. Give him some time and maybe drop a hint that it hurts for him to do this when he is with you

it's called a fruedian slip it doesnt mean he intentionally means to bring her up. It's his past they were married it's going to happen you just have to put it aside you and understand that your his now not her

Just because he is happy with you doesnt mean that he can just forget his history... i am sure they have a lot of memories together.... dont think its anything to worry about - youve got him now, jsut remember that!! Hes with you, not her :)

That's because he still loves her and misses her and she most likely dumped him.
