I used to ask myself this same question. I usually answer questions at the Brazilian version more than I do here. And over there there is a lady, the leader in points, who answers ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! She basically just writes a short sentence for each question with no punctuation to speak of and moves on very quickly to the next question.
Also, I've heard of people having multiple e-mail accounts just so they can vote for THEMSELVES as the best answerers. And others vote for their own answers when some people don't elect a best answer for their questions and get 10 points this way (if they're lucky, of course).
I used to stay here a lot more while on vacation from school. Not so much anymore. And after I got to level 5 I relaxed a bit as well. Take care!

that's because they have no life and spend 24 hours a day in front of a computer answering questions. Or the user is actually comprised of several intelligent people who take turns answering questions the best they can. That's my theory. Either that, or they must have no life...

They are probably very knowledgable about the questions that they answer which then their answers get picked as the best. Either that or they have so much time on their hands that they waste it on answering random yahoo answers questions.

Just keep answering and don't asking, look at my points this week, you'll see approx 3800+ because I only answer alot.

They probably answer a lot of questions and then vote for their own answers to get several more best answers. It also helps to not have a life.....)(

They never leave and are probably on a level with unlimited answering and probably a few best answers.
