In classic "let's report anything involving a New Zealander" reporting, we had coverage on the prime time news here. Here is the link to the video:

The story for those too unconcerned to watch the video, she is an actress now working in the US. She made the videos with a few other guys who (from memory) have aspirations to work in the film/tv world.
Taking away the kiwi connection, I would give them two big thumbs up. There are many industries that are very tough to get a break in, and I would much rather see groups of people come up with innovative solutions to breaking in, than spend their time wandering Hollywood and whining about never getting work.

oh yea ..she posted videos on youtube as Lonleygirl 15,and made up this life,her parents were strongly religious..she was home schooled,she had gone to the UK,Aussie,American and NZ. etc..
about 3 million people watched her videos..thinking it was real,but it was a set up by some talent agencyin the US.
I dont really know the big deal..execpt she fooled a lot of people.
