...having a girlfriend. when i talked to him one time he gave me a smile and kept talking more than before but now finding out that he has a girlfriend, ive been surprized but i guess hes not lying. do you think he still likes me in a way or just wants to be friends.

I think he likes you, in a calm and minor way, and he wants to be friends with you. Maybe he's not entirely serious about his girlfriend and even has it in mind to get rid of her sooner or later. But never assume too much or get too ahead of yourself; that's one of the worst mistakes one can make. Just play along, talk to him whenever you're together, smile back (in a friendly gesture, not invoking "forbidden desires"). It would have been much worse if he led you on even more, then told you flat out that he had a girlfriend, or worse introduced her to you and he said something like "This is my friend, (your name here)." Just do whatever you feel is the best and most sensible thing to do; remember, the worst thing you could ever lose is your common sense (I think...)

I think its highly possible that he may have feelings for you, he could also just be being freindly....its hard to tell in these kinds of situations, as i have a friend that does that same thing. I guess the best way to tell is if the next time he doesnt have a girlfriend, ask him.....or just flirt with him when she isnt around and see what he does.....

yeah he might like u...but likes u doesnt mean he want to go serious wt u..he might jus wanna be and stay friends wt u....Some of my guy frens used to be strangers passing by... we smiled and become frens.... .indeed we become bestfriends...which i think im comfortable wt it.. :o)
