In Kate Chopin's "Story of an Hour," Sidonie Gabrielle Colette's "The Hand", and Gail Godwin's "A Sorrowful Woman". Do these three stories share similar issues or perspectives? Do these three stories contrast in some issues or perspectives? I need to write a three page essay in comparing and contrasting these stories. Any help will be apprieted.

I know that "Story of an Hour" deals with her side of thigs - being held in a captive life, but we never hear the husband's side. See if this issue is in the other two and if so, compare their perspectives. Good luck.
