He needs to be in a nut house, but he didn't break any laws. Nevertheless, laws usually favor those with money. Most of the stuff you named concerning media is :there are no laws. Cancer? Insults will not help anything. America is not perfect nor do we claim to be. What we claim is that all it's citizens have a say so in the government, as much or as little as they choose to exercize.

Regardless of all the problems that we DO have and no one here would ever deny they exist the fact remains that this country offers more in the way of freedom (of religion, speech, and so on), prosperity, creativity, variety, ingenuity, and possibilities than any other nation in the world. If the USA was as bad as you would like the rest of us to believe then it wouldn't have the highest immigration rates in the world. More people throughout the world want to come here (and so many that aren't allowed) than any other nation in the world. I'm curious does anyone immigrate to your country? Does your country have freedom of speech (could your write the hateful things you just said about your country?)? Do you have the ability to go from nothing (poverty) to a decent standard of living in less than a life time with hard work?

And though I agree that the values of America are detoriorating badly because of the media, Hollywood, the music....most of the people here are not like what you see on TV or hear on the radio. Please do not watch American television and think for one minute that the majority of Americans behave that way. Some do and that is unfortunate...but that's the price we pay for FREEDOM. People here have a choice. I don't watch television so my children aren't influenced by it. It's not allowed in our home. Maybe that's the problem. More people throughout the world need to turn it off. Help us in America send a message to Hollywood and television networks that we are sick of the garbage they are spewing out for kids all over the world to see and emulate. I would love that to happen.

Woody Allen should be in jail. So should Michael Jackson and Simpson, but money talks. It talks all over the world. Don't think that money doesn't talk in your country. Don't think that those in your country that have money aren't more privelaged than the rest. In most Milddle Eastern countries the ruling families and government officials are so rich beyond the richest person here in America. Do they share their wealth with the people? NO Do they build infrastructure for their people? NO Do they educate the masses? NO Do they provide medical care for everyone? NO Do they use their immense wealth to create an economy that would provide an opportunity for all citizens that are willing to work hard? NO

But they will build outrageous palaces. They will have gold applied to their bathroom fixtures. They will fly all over the world in private jets. They will dress in the finest clothes and eat the finest foods. Did they earn it? NO Are they living off the backs of the people they rule? YES Do they allow their people freedom to choose government? NO Do they allow it's citizens to voice their opinion? NO

So when you talk about all the evils of the US, remember that basing your perceptions on the television is stupid. It's make believe. It's not real. If you think the nation is stingy, selfish or whatever...you need to look at all the countries you cited like N Korea, Russia, China, France and most of the Middle East for more corruption, human abuse, tyranny, and immorality than the USA could ever even dream of doing. Study a little before your jealousy allows your mouth to spew such idiocy. The USA is not perfect and it does have a wealth of problems, but I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. And I guarantee if you had the chance you wouldn't either.

My husband is Puerto Rican and his father grew up in very poor conditions cutting sugar cane as a child. He wouldn't go back if you paid him. Remember there is a reason that people come here. Many reasons. You have access to a computer so I don't imagine you are living in squalor, so I'm not sure why you are so down on money. You have some. Do you share it? Do you do good things with it? It's a necessity of life. Some have more than others. Get over your jealousy and start seeing reality. The US does not kill kids an babies. They don't hack off peoples heads. They don't blow up buildings with daycares with dozens of small children in them. They don't go into cafe's and blow themselves up with small children and women around. But the US is trying to stop people like that. Can't help that terrorists hide in homes behind the skirts of their wives and children. Can't help that these supposed holy men (satan worshipers more like it) go into a holy building to hide and shoot from. Think more and spew less.
