a $5000 les paul, a huge stack of amps, reverb peddle and a whole lotta windmills.

Guitars: A Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins, a Gibson J-200, and a Gibson LP Junior.
Amps and Cables: A 1959 Fender Bandmaster and a Whirlwind Cable.

I think he used Les Pauls and either Hiwatt or Vox amps and speakers. I always liked his sound. Really dirty, but you could still hear and understand what he was playing.
