Have you ever fainted before?

Question

I seen someone pass out right infront of me today!
scared me! I have never pass out!
I got a little light head but never have I hit the floor.

Yes, I fainted at school when I was 11. I made some poor breakfast choices that day. That morning my class was practicing singing for a school play. Suddenly, everything went dark and spotty. I thought I was going blind--or dying. That's the last thing I remember. The next thing I know the janitor's carrying me to the principal's office. They had me bend over and put my head between my legs for a while. Then, they fed me some more food (peaches). I was mad (and embarrassed) at the time because they wouldn't let me pay for it.

Now, if I ever have that light-headed feeling again, I get down to the floor.

PS I'm surprised I didn't get any bruises. I was on a set of bleachers, and the cafeteria floor was hard.

Yeah, me too. I've never fainted. It was in high school. I was studying for exams, didn't eat, didn't sleep much. Just kinda started leaning over one day, and my friend caught me. He asked if I was ok, and I said I think I just needed to get something to eat. He ran and got me a pizza. Sweet, huh? After that, I was fine.

Once when I was a teenager. It was all out of the blue and scared me crazy. I was walking outside and all of a sudden everything started getting dark and I became unable to stand up. Luckily, there was a guy working at the school I was passing and he helped me and gave me a portion of his sandwich and I was fine in a few minutes. It never happened again and I hope it never does. My main concern was the darkness and as I was falling I was saying, "I can't see". I've always wondered were my eyes open or closed when I was unable to see.

Yeah, I was half asleep on my couch in the afternoon once, when I heard a knock on my door, I got up to open the door and once it was open I passed out and fell backwards, hit my head on the couch and woke up.
It happened because I was taking a medication that made me light headed when I went too long without eating, in this case I hadn't eaten in about 20 hr.
Lesson: Be careful with prescription medications!

Yes, when I tried to give blood. I fainted even before they started! Very embarrasing.One second I was sitting in a chair, the next thing I knew I was on the floor in a different room.

yes, in a child development class in high school while watching a childbirth video. I woke up when my hand hit the floor. The next day I had the flu and I have since then given birth to two kids but didn't video tape it..LOL

you ever see the car doors of a chevy cavalier? i got out of the car, forgot something turn back and leaned into the car to get it. whirled around too fast (i guess) and poked my eye on the cornor of the car door! weird i know. I woke up on the ground. i think i was only out a few seconds. funny thing is the person i was with missed the whole thing but i had a pretty bad black eye after.

If i let my blood sugar get too low it happens, i see gold spots, then it gets really bright as i make my to my knees(so i wont fall and hit my head) then im out

I did once..it was scary because I was really hot then I couldn't see and then my knees buckled. I think that my blood-sugar was low. I drank a pop then I was fine.
