Which kind: Scientific, or Meditative?

Both use the visualization to achieve a goal. In scientific visualizations, professionals usually meditate on what they want to create. For example, making a car. First they have to visualize it and then start to brainstorm on ways to acheive it.

Meditative also has a goal. Usually the goal is to improve your inner being by visualizing how you want to become. Focus on happy stuff vs negative to bring happiness in your life. Athletes also use meditative visualization so they can mentally visualise them accomplishing thier athletic ability (poll jummping). It is even popular in weight loss. Sit in front of a mirror and visualize yourself the perfect way you want to be (kinda scary, once you visualise yourself this way, ah, you start to look like it).

This will help you build confidence. Look in to the mirror at yourself and say I like myself, 2 or 3 times, say it like you mean it. I bet you burst out in a grin.
