At 19, that's a pretty significant age difference. You're probably not going to have the same goals/interests, and oftentimes, that can get in the way.

But, hey, if you're in love and you really think it has a chance of working out, what the heck; you've got nothing to lose -- except an eventual broken heart, either/both persons. Good luck! My limit is 10 years my senior.

depends on how much you have in common and stuff like that. He's been through way more than you have as an adult. And ask yourself, is he with you b/c he wants to make you happy and wants to honestly be with you? Or because he loves gettin' high fives from all his buddies for dating a 19 year old?

No it's not but the only thing that isn't good about it is if the relationship gets serious then he would die way before you would....Other then that there isn't anything wrong with it. I went thur a stage of dating older men in my early 20's. You'll get out of it...lol

I'm afraid so, hon'. At your age, I'd make ten years the limit for an age difference, and even that's pushing it a little. You are legally an adult, true, but don't forget you're still a teenager!

Is there a reason this guy doesn't date women his age? You better keep your feelings in check. Chances are, nothing good will come from dating him.
