I had trouble with them too. For me, it was the iron that was causing the problem. Talk to your OB/GYN, something else will be recommended to you. Congrats on your baby!

I had morning sickness bad with my 4 pregnancies and the doctors got me on Natachew, which tasted like a kid's vitamin and stayed down better. Also there were a couple of perscriptions I tried. Phenergin (sp?) sorks for some people but not me. Zofran (normally for nausea associated with chemotherapy in cancer patients but recently approved for morning sickness) ended up being a major blessing in my most recent pregnancy.
Like you, for me the nausea was a constant thing. Mine went away after about the 4th month. But the doctors always assured me that it was not affecting the baby's nutrition. Just watch for dehydration if you are throwing up too much.
Good luck!

A definite YES!!!
I could't take prenatal vitamins until the middle of my second tri.
They made the afternoon sickness that I had even worse. It was like this with both of my kids.
Talk to your doc. There are options out there for you. But, yes, this is ok to feel this way. Taking the vitamins is important, but so is you being able to function without feeling really sick. Congrats for you on the little one and I hope you are feeling better soon!!

EVERYTHING made my poor dear daughter sick when she was pregnant. You might try Ginger capsules or tea, vitamin B6 as pyridoxyl-5-phosphate, or homeopathy. Try to get your products and directions from someone who is experienced in treating the nausea of pregnancy.
You might also see if you can find a brand of vitamins that is not so hard on your stomach.
Good luck and God Bless.

I am 6 months and mine have never made me sick but if you are still not that far along... could still be morning sickness... and it doesn't just happen in the morning... I've kept morning sickness since day one... lost 20 pounds. My best advice to you is to take them with food or eat some saltine crackers with them. If they continue to make you that sick... talk to your doctor. Good luck with the new baby and congrats!

I had trouble with them too. The doc told me if I had trouble w/ morning sickness to take them at night.....WRONG I still got sick just at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. So they switched me to Flintstones, but keep in mind that was 10 years ago.

One is the purple prenatal diet and the different is the DHA. you do not unquestionably pick the DHA till approximately 27 weeks.. So, if I have been you, i might throw those out till approximately then and merely take an person-friendly prenatal diet.

It could be from the pregnancy.
There are other brands of prenatal vitamins available, also you could ask for the coated kind to digest them lower than your stomach to prevent nausea.
