A very hard sport - I seen a documentary and I don't think it should be considered as an easy sport. There is alot more that goes into it then just cheers.

It can be one of the most difficult sports when performed to the highest standards. It incorporates elements of gymnastics and dance and even creative writing but as a team sport so everyone must always do their best and cooperate fully. I have never been a cheerleader or even close friends with anyone who was but I have to admire their dedication and skill.

Very hard! Cheerleaders are required to not only be athletic, they have to maintain their physical appearance as well. (I can't think of any sport where a man has to always look like a Barbie (or in this case, Ken) doll.) That alone makes it a very challenging sport.

hard as far as injuries but not as far as having talent. I played golf, vball, softball, bball, and I cheered and I got injured the most in cheerleading. However, it was the easiest sport to learn, the only difficult part is tumbling and if you have a good gymnasics coach that part really isnt that hard.

My daughter was a cheerleader and it's a very hard sport.

It doesn't get the credit/respect from the sports world that it deserves.

Cheerleading looks hard. Im a dancer and dancing's hard, but it just doesnt look as hard as cheerleading. We dont have to lift ppl up and keep them up there with out dropping them!

My daughter does cheer but I tend to think it depends on the school.

Our JV squad was awful last year, at one point, the girls were doing a defense cheer and we were on offense.

I think if the school and leader are supportive, the sport is tough...if not I don't think so...

it's a tough sport! You have to be good at lots of different things to be a great cheerleader.

A hard spot? Read over your question dude!! I think I know what you mean, I reckon it would be hard dancing around in a skirt and men staring at you.... real hard.

Well it really all depends on the person. One with good gymastic skills it will be easy for and one with less skill sit will be more diffcult sport.
