That is one of the most refreshing questions I've read in a long time. I think you must be a wonderful husband and she is very lucky to have you. I don't know the how the two of you sleep when with each other but for me... We always end up back to back. I always have to feel him behind me to sleep well. When he is not with me I sleep on the couch so that I have the comfort of something behind my back. Sounds silly but it's the only way I'm able to sleep when I'm without him. I also watch t.v. until I can barely keep my eyes open. Good luck to you and God bless!

Ben's wife:

I have the same problem. Many nights I stay up until 3am and wakeup at 6am to get ready for work. Tonight I'm gonna try snuggling with a pillow at the edge of the bed as if some fatass is taking up the rest of it, lol.

I sympathize! That said, there are many remedies:
Herbal solution: Valerian root;
Medical solution: Ambien or Trazadone - need a prescription;
Practical solution: Get a divorce so it does not happen again! (Just kidding!);
Theoretical solution: close your eyes and count sheep;
Sexual Solution: The other answering yahooooers beat me to that, of course!
Intellectual solution: Read Zeno, Aristotle or Justinian, the latter in latin;
Political solution: Read the 9/11 Commission Report - but please stay awake when you read it because it is worth staying awake for;
The Final solution: Get an airticket and go join her wherever the heck she is!!!!!! Good luck, friend.

Go to a book store or a craft store and get a learn to knit kit (book, yarn and needles). Spend the night, learn to knit, and knit her a scarf. Hand her the scarf when you pick her up at the airport, then go home, cuddle with her and go to sleep.

Get off the computer and write a letter to her telling her how much you miss her... tell her the things you like about her. And plan her homecoming, dinner, etc. Keep busy doing things for her while she's gone. She'll appreciate it when she comes back. Good luck!

Call her and climb into bed and talk to her until you are really sleepy!! It has worked for me on several occasions. Hope you get some sleep tonight!

Put her picture up next to you (or hold it close to your heart), curl up in bed with a pillow, close your eyes and think about her until you fall asleep, where you can dream about her.
