It isn't so easy to be "the greatest". Halo didn't bring any revolutionary change in the gaming world that it should be considered as "the greatest". I totally agree that Halo is indeed a very good FPS game. But there are tons of FPS out there which are also great, like UT2004, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty, Half Life etc. Halo doesn't have any unique feature which makes it totally different than other FPS.
Take a look at GTA. GTA changed the gaming world. After GTA3 was a big hit, lots of other games started following the GTA idea. Still now, every GTA has some new unique features over it's predecessor. And, there is hardly any 3rd person game which dares to vie with GTA.
Halo 2 sold 7 million wordwide. GTA San Andreas sold 14 million worldwide.

Nope. Thought the first two sucked. Can't say I'd like the third. Un;ess they got away from FPS.

no, and no it didnt revolutinize fps theres been plenty of fps before and this one just blends in with the rest. halo is just another regular fps.

No. Its for x box and my opinion, x box sucks I'd rather use my ps2 or PC. If it went to ps2 or computer, then mabe.
