Me too! Colin was the one bright spot in gw's gang of misfits. I doubt that he will run for Prez, but I hope he remains 'in the limelight' and continues to expose the weaknesses of this administration.

I like Colin Powell. I have a lot of respect for his past military leadership ability. However, I feel that since he has retired and is no longer in the direct line of information, he needs to learn to keep his personal opinions to himself.

Mr Powell was offered the opportunity to step up and lead, but he declined. Now, he is being used as a tool for others who want to create divisiveness in our country. I don't like that at all.

Unity is as important today as it was on 9/12/01. Creating controversy as an attempt to rattle the authority of the President in order to get votes for the Dems is just plain sandbox type behavior that we have come to expect from them.

There is never a solution offered, just, "stop it." Okay, so we stop it.... then what do we do? How doe we protect ourselves? The far east is not a nice place. They will not respect us if we "stop it." We cannot afford to be ostriches. It will get us killed. I don't think I would like that.

I wish he ran for President in 2000. He was considering it. I admire him a lot. He's my hero too.

Powell might actually love his country more than he loves republican ideology.

Rare among them.
