Listen to this gibberish crazy-a** Christian song that Eric Cartman came up with. Oh, wait, that's you!? Watch South Park! the rest doesn't matter.

Sorry I really don't listen to much more the christian music. I would say one I would rule out, is I heard a neighbor have some kind of rap music with some very filthy language in it.

The great thing about being an individual is that you get to make your own choices -- both good and bad. There is no master list of acceptable music or entertainment for Christians. You must decide for yourself -- based on your own beliefs and morals -- what you think is acceptable or not.

Im christian and i will answer your question for you honestly. Some people on here will tell you " Oh listen to what you what or watch whatever you want" but the truth is this.....the things you watch or listen to will inturn impact who you are.......say a person watches pornography.....what do you think will happen to that person......the more they watch it the more they will become addicted to it.......which is not a good thing.
Some groups I would keep away from are heavy metal groups like acdc, motely crue, judas priest, ozzy osborne, marilynn manson, Kiss.....just to name a few.......those groups have songs that glorify things like violence, sex, drugs, drinking and who knows what else.....things a person needs no part of and shouldnt be involved in.
As far as tv shows......south park, the simpsons(both make fun of christians and Jesus), ...........heck as far as tv goes you might as well shut it off unless you are watching cartoons and anymore cartoons are even being used to try to get people do or be involved in things that arent good for us.
I try to stick to pg-13 movies or pg movies......ones without sex, drugs, drinking and alot of violence......I pretty do the same for anything I watch on tv. In today's world its hard not to see, hear, or come across anything without sex, violence, drugs and drinking among other things, but one can take those steps needed to keep what they see and listen to clean for themselves and for their children.

a christian will find in his own heart what to listen to or watch. the music or tv is only as bad as you make it out to be in most circumstances

To be honest, and I am a Christian, it's all what you decide, some denominations will tell you not to listen to secular music, some don't mind it. In all honesty it's up to you and what you believe is right.

it depends on your growth. whats good for me may not be good for you. or for you now. the general rule of thumb is are you glorifying God and does this make you stumble. Enjoying yourself can be glorifying God unless it makes you sin. But too much of enjoyment is not good as described in Proverbs. Martin Luther once said that I can't control the birds flying over my head but I can control the ones making a nest in my hair. So be careful and have fun.
