depends on what kinda program ya got runnnin, usually its in the toolbar, ive got windows XP and its the one just to the right of the favorites icon which is a star, the history one is like a clocky thingy with an arrow-y. it should be on your toolbar, if you think its what you are looking for it, just hover over it and it will show the title of the icon!!

On the top of your screen. The icon looks like a little clock.

there is not a history button on the computer.
on windows there is a recent programs/appliction menu for quick acc.
on explorer its your little clock.
on firefox you have to go to view-sidebar-history.
