if you abuse it, you lose it
All child molestors and rapists. Maybe not for first time offenders, but definitely for repeat offenders.
And to be fair, women who abuse little boys, (you know who they are) get to lose their ovaries too, Women's Equality.
IF what RonK says is correct, thats a big IF, but, IF he is correct, then perhaps, in an instance of a second offense after a rape, and after the castration, then, we get a plastic surgeon "turn the apparatus inside out" like what they do for sex changes for men-to-women, so it would be physically impossible to rape anyone. and with a hefty dose of estrogen, the only rape he will ever experience in the future, will have him in the receiving end for a change.

I don't believe castration would totally solve the problem of child molestors. I mean, gross, but there are other things...
I am for capital punishment, in other words, the Death Penalty, for child molestors. They have stolen the life of a child with that act, even if the child lives. That child will never look at life the same way again.

In reference to the repeat offender answer, there is something like an 82% chance that they will repeat - you willing to stake your kids on 18%? I'm all for legal castration, they have not control over themselves, it's a compulsion. If they were operating on a normal level, do you think they would have done that in the first place?

People thought that legal castration would halt sexual perpetrators from committing heinous crimes, however, it is a proved fact that a perpetrator if wanting to violate someone will use digits (finger) objects(bottle, knives, etc,,,) Anything they can us to penetrate the victim with, which does more harm. It hasn't been proven to prevent anyone from re-victimizing.

Why? You must know that it is an accepted medical proceedure in case of cancer of the testes. But I suspect you're thinking it will rein in cases of sexual abuse. It will not. It's been tried, and in those instances where it's been tried, the rate of criminal sexual abuse did not change at all. Castration for this purpose or for revenge is barbaric. Enough said?

Castration for sexual predators is an abomination. It is not effective towards most rapists and molestors. These people don't gain sexual excitement just by penetration from their penis it is mostly a power thing. No matter if they have a penis or not they can still sodomize their victims.

Castration WILL NOT slow down the sex drive.
That has been proven a rumor time and time again.
It WILL make the person think twice before doing it again, BUT.
This time when they rape, it will be harder to find DNA.
Agressive behavior is agressive behavior. Cutting wont solve anything.
Killing? well....... that's a dif story......dif topic...diff moral issues
Life in prison maybe?

I think there should be legalized public castration for child molestors!!! Using 2 rocks instead of a knife, with no pain killers!!! Proud to be a true American who knows America wasn't founded by a bunch of humanitarians who thought criminals should have rights!!!

death penalty. Ron K has a good point. Child molesters should pay the penalty they inflict on the innocent. They ruin someones whole life up. They should pay with thier life.

The problem is not body parts, the problem is that the child molester is breathing. Perhaps the child molesters should 'volunteer' to become daycare workers in Iraq.
