I do not know what you look like, but if you feel you have the looks, go ahead, cause you definitely have the height.
You are young, so high fashion/runway is good for you.
You can model and go to high school at the same time. Don't listen to anyone who tells you you are hollow because you want to be a model. As long as you do not drop out from school, you can have a career as a model. (Don't drop out from school... ever!) :)
And fashion modeling is not about using your body for money. As long as you do not do calendars and baby oil/bikini/bike stuff, you can be very classy. You are not using your body, you are using your looks, it is very different. High Fashion/runway industry does NOT sell the women, it sells the clothes/style/etc.
Playboy sells the body. Vogue sells fashion products.
I say go for it, and remember to NEVER pay any money for anything (modeling schools, agencies).
Go to the good modeling agencies websites, and look at their photo requirements, take some, and email them. Or you can go to the open calls (take the photos with you, and your mom).
If you need any advice, I am here for you :)

I was like you when I was 12, tall, skinny and I was called upon to model for an agency. I did it for awhile, although it was alot of fun, it took up alot of my time. I didn't have time for things that kids do, like sports, friends, school, just being a kid. So I ended up leaving the agency. Now I'm back in it @ 25, so it's never too late. If you think you can balance everything, then I'd say go for it, but it you'll miss out on your "teeny bopper" years.

flat out...if u got the looks (u already got the HEIGHT) go for it. if its what u want. dont listen to every1 saying dont model, go to school. u can do both.hell if i was tall enough to model i sure as hell would. thats money for looking good.doing nothing but walking and posing. theres nothing wrong with that. BUT AT THE SAME TIME get your education. THATS never ending money in your pockets. cuz if modeling fails u still have ur brain.
ALSO U SHOULD NEVER PAY TO MODEL FOR SUM1. THOSE AGENCIES ARE A SCAM AND STAY AWAY. THEY WILL ASK FOR MORE AND MORE. TRUST ME!!! LEGIT AGENCYS DO NOT REQUIRE FEES WHATSO EVER!!!

You are too young to model, however if you stay thin, fit, clear skinned, and actually do come in at LEAST 5'10" you have a good shot at working for someone somewhere. Height and looks aren't everything of course... you need something different about you. I am quite thin and tall but was once told I looked "too all-American." Today's models need something unique. Keep that in mind. Stay in school while you do model! You'll always need something in your back pocket reguardless.

you keep asking the similar questions about modeling, what are you trying to get from some complete strangers? if you want to do it and your parents are ok with it, then go do it and have fun. just to remind you, no one, no even the top supermodels(and they are 1 in a million) can keep modeling for the rest of their lives. your body changes, your looks change, you as a person change constantly, so modeling may not be the thing for you 5 years from now. I strongly recommend you to acquire other skills as your livelihood just in case this modeling gig doesn't pan out for you.

forget the money, grades and other such things for now.
question, run way? print? others?
run way, your height is possible but be prepared to wear a 3" high heel. most female run way models are around 5'9" to 5'11". clue, face is not as important than size and overall bone structure. for, "regular" size models, you should be around size 6. but, most important, the clothe must literally "hang" on you well. after all, people are looking at more the clothe than you. pretty face is a good start but the body type/correct posture is more important.
if other, you need to find out what they are looking for.
finally, modeling is a cut-throat business and people can give you cruel comments. so, you also need to be mentally tough.
you can make big money but also be prepared to face the harsh realities of modeling.
hint: how many 30+ run way girls are there? I hope you make it big but I also believe you need, if you are serious, a back-up plan.

If you're a moron,, go a head and be a model.,, models are usually exploited sexually (directly and indirectly) If you have a useful brain,, which I'm sure you do,, get a degree in a field you love,, and forget the model thing, most models are miserable because they have to continually starve themselves to meet criteria and most of the really successful ones have to go through surgery to make the grade.
Use your brain,, not your body to get ahead.
Looks fade and the model industry is so cut throat and rotten to people, if you did make the grade now, within a couple years they'd have your self esteem ripped to shreds!
They want 18 and older girls to look under 14 to appease the pedo's of today. I think it's sick,, that's why I discouraged my daughter who wanted to be a model. She's WAYYYYYY too smart for that!

Your height isn't the only thing that qualifies you for modeling. Unless you plan on doing foot modeling, you need to have a good-looking face, the confidence, and right attitude.

try getting smart instead of pretty. actually looks matter a lot though, but still, smarts are good. if you dont get to be a model, you still have many chances at life. but if you only concentrate on looks, when u grow up and dont get to be a famous model, your ruined. try mainly smarts but when you have tome, concentrate on looks.
