-I personally don't like that color. I like red, blue, emerald green, white, something bold....not sea green.

You have to try it on to be sure. What looks good on Amanda Bynes might look like a nightmare on you.
Different people look different in different colors. You may look drop-dead gorgeous in sea green, or it could make you look frumpy or even sickly.
Make sure you get some unbias opinions when trying the dress on, usually store attendants are good people to ask.

Depends on your eye color and skin tone. You should have a professional determine if that is a good color on you. Chances are if that color isn't flattering, they can find a similar color (different tone) or another one altogether that you'll like. Personally, I love Sea Green. It's a great color on me, as long as it's a warm version of it. I also like other colors that make me look like I've been 3 days longer in the ground than Moses, so I don't wear them next to my face. It's always a good idea to have "your colors" done.
Have fun!

My first prom dress was sea green... it was beautiful and I'm sure yours will be! I bought mine at Lord & Taylor - they always have a nice selection. Usually so does Nordstrom and even Macy's. Try different stores and look online at their websites first... each store doesn't always have the same styles and sizes. If you are looking for sometime more unique, try a designer boutique or have it custom made.

yes, i like that color but maybe go for something a little different, get sea green and some design in contrast in like copper or old gold with some dark browns and a hint of red here and there.

man, your thinking really early for prom! i think sea green would look good, as long as your not overweight, then it won't look good. check betsy johnson, bebe, cache and arden b. don't go to rampage, wet seal, macys or a department store. everyone gets thier dresses there and you'll look like everyone else.

I think it depends on skin tone and hair color. but, always remember that a different color added in accessories such as gloves, shoes and purse can make it even look better if you need more color. Good luck with it.
