Was it really necessary to change yahoo game settings?

Looking through the message board on there I am not the only one having this problem. We can not see where people are talking. I like the way it was before. When the screen wasn't that big and when I could have conversations and see the status of the game. I am just really curious as to wether or not this was a necessary change and if anything is going to be done to correct how bad it is for people to play now?

No, it wasn't necessary. And when I accidentaly roll my mouse over someone's picture, I nearly fall backwards out of my chair from shock because I'm still not used to the stats window.
I hated the feature they put in not too long ago about rating answers, but now I love it-- I love seeing if people hate what I said or agree with me. Maybe it'll just get some getting used to.

they are doing it for the ads. do you think they can run forever for free on here==they obviously think they can't! if you can't pay for their upgrade service, then you have to put up with the ads they make you suffer through.
anyway, here are some tips that can help.
if you're having a POP UP problem.
NOTE--You need to keep your pop up blocker ON! You don't have to accept ads & pop ups just to play games because yahoo changes formats!!
Yahoo has done this to offer ADS now.

All you need to do is on the tab that say "always allow" it should say "recent pop ups blocked" you need to high light YAHOO.COM then click ALLOW.

Your only other option, sadly, is to pay for Yahoo All Stars. This is their way of ridding pop ups for you.

set pop up blocker to always allow games.yahoo.com The easiest way to do this when you try getting in lounge and it doesn't work.click on pop up blocker. always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked.high light yahoo.com then click allow.1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once
in room expand it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.
