they are the best and the people who trash wvu are just jealos cuz are team is better than them. i was at the game 28-0 to 45-24 steve slaton is definetly the best in the ncaa.i hate louisville and the pitt and acc sucks wvu will romp all there teams

After the first quarter they did not have to play hard. Why play hard when you are crushing the laughing stock of the ACC? Slaton could have rushed for 300 yards, but they were just cruising to an easy win. I agree that the WVU defense needs some work, but I don't think there is another offense that can hang with them when the pressure is on.

As someone that bleeds Blue and Gold, I loved most of last nights game. Our offense is strong and is going to give EVERY team a good showing. Our defense needs to be a little more careful. Nothing the our beloved coach will not have worked out by the next game. Can I get a "Let's go Mountaineers"?

I hope Louisville serves them a slice of reality pie... I also hope the Mountainqueers get upset by a few other teams, and then get crushed in their bowl game like they did in 2004.
I hate WVU more than I hate any ACC rival (including UVA and the Criminoles), and that's saying something.

When WVU plays someone worth talking about let me know, until then they have proven nothing. 11/16/2006 they will get a loss on their record for sure, then lets see if they are all that.

I guess that means they won tonight? They may move up, but forget NC game. First, they still have a date with :Louisville. Second, unless Ohio St., ND, USC, Texas and Auburn have two losses apiece, WV won't get in the NC game, even if they are undefeated. Sorry, but money and TV ratings rule the BCS.

Probably. West Virginia has a good team and deserves their ranking but I believe that although their offense is great, their defense is lacking.

Although Slaton had a terrific game had it not been for a few fumbles near the goal line the score would have been a lot closer.

With that pu$$y schedule they're playing, they SHOULD move up. If not, it'll be because they failed to beat someone by 35 instead of 30. I hope Louisville kicks the dogcrap out of them and proves once and for all that creampuff scheduling won't cut it!
