Are you judging or just curious? Everything he made has a purpose.
Do you have one? If you didn't have one would it make a difference in your life?
Do you feel that you can do without it? If so, tell him that you don't want your crack and to remove it. Close it up.
I see it as a means for escape of anything that builds up that would be a probable cause for discomfort, or death.
For the true answer....Ask him...I can only speculate.

people only beleive in god because they beleive that life in the universe is so remote and we are alive...god was created because we had no reasonings for some of the reasons why we are alive........god has not made these cracks, we have, or that is how it was since the beggining
