Lots of white people I know love $ too much. All they talk about is how they are going to make an extra dollar. They seem to forget about the beautiful things of life. I cant even hang out with my white friends anymore. They make me feel like I need to worry about $. I make good money, but I do not feel like I need it to make me happy. Are you guys naturally greedy or is this something your parents teach you? Look at all the corporations damaging the earth....They are all run by white people.

People are NOT naturally greedy, we do adapt to our environment though.
These days we are brainwashed into "needing" things we dont need: toys, fashion etc.
It is no ones fault, its is everyones fault, we have permitted money to take over, it is the latest god. Instead of being a tool to ease trade (the age old question, how many ducks is a sheep worth?), it IS the goal.
Governments use it to control us, exactly the same way a farmer uses a ring through a bull's nose, we are tugged around by money.

THis question seemed to produce and come off as somewhat racist. I am white and my step-family is all hispanic. I dont think that its fair to say a certain race are greedy. As a whole, I dont think white people are. Everyone has greed to a certain amount. I believe the way you phrased your question, or maybe your thinking in general goes just by what you are around. Im a waitress so i meet every kind of person there is. If you think whites are greedy, what do you think about people of other races?

OMG, that is the most racist thing I have heard in a while. I mean we could make a generalization about why maybe you as a what ever you are feel the way you do. That's just not right.
I think most "educated" white people do want to make a nice life for themselves the their family. It's human nature to want something more. I only hope my children have a better life than I did. Damn straight I am going to work my butt off to give it too them.
I am guessing by your post that you're probably not very educated and are slightly jealous of you white friends.

Oh my, you have a problem. I think all the corporations that are run by other than white people would disagree greatly with your statement. It's not just white people. This is a capitalistic society and as people grow up their needs change. You may still be their friends, but you are naturally going to go in different directions. It happens all the time and not just to white people.

Thank you for your racist insight to white people. Some of us white people were raised to work hard and earn what you actually get. Have you ever heard the saying " he who dies with the most toys wins" thats how my dad raised me. I do my best and make an honest living doing it. It's not called greed, It's called earning the money so you can get what you want.

It's not the nature theory. It's the nurture. Our development depends on how we are raised and the influences our environment has on us. At least that is how I see it. I am not white but I do know some very greedy non-whites.

People black, white, red, yellow take your pick. Need something to do. Its called purpose to life. It all depends if its food and shelter or the biggest pile of crap. It seems to me if it works for you and gets you through the day go for it. But if you'd like to enjoy more of your life have what you need and less of what you want. good luck
